Made at the same time as the sunburst purple tiger, this gold-to-purple sunburst tiger striped guitar was much closer to the Kamikaze design with a different graphic paint job. Like the Kamikaze, it featured a reverse headstock but unlike the purple sunburst tiger, it had a matching painted headstock. The body was a solid piece of maple, just like the current standard production purple tiger and Kamikaze...a very heavy guitar. Mounted in this guitar was a Seymour Duncan distortion bridge pickup and SSL strat pickup in the neck position. This guitar was rarely used live during the early part of the "Back For The Attack" tour in the fall of 1987 but was seen in numerous promotional photos at this time. RETURN TO GEORGE'S GUITARS
